Your browser may show a warning — here's how to proceed:
C Google Chrome
- Chrome may show "Suspicious download blocked" or "EverSweep_Setup.exe isn't commonly downloaded"
- Click "Show all" or the arrow (^) next to the warning
- Select "Keep" or "Keep anyway"
- If Chrome blocks it entirely, go to chrome://downloads and click "Keep dangerous file" it's not dangerous
E Microsoft Edge
- Edge may show "EverSweep_Setup.exe was blocked" in the downloads bar
- Click the three dots (...) next to the blocked file
- Select "Keep"
- If prompted again, click "Show more" then "Keep anyway"
F Mozilla Firefox
- Firefox may show a "This file may harm your computer" warning
- Click "Allow download" in the popup
- The file will appear in your Downloads folder
W Windows SmartScreen (after download)
- When you run the installer, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC"
- Click "More info" (small blue text)
- Verify the publisher shows "EverLabs Software Ltd"
- Click "Run anyway"
Why do these warnings appear? Ever Sweep is a brand-new application. Browser and Windows warnings are
shown for all new software until it builds a download history. Ever Sweep is digitally signed by
EverLabs Software Ltd with a verified Sectigo code signing certificate — you can confirm this
in the SmartScreen dialog and in the installer's digital signature properties.
